COMMUNITY GROWTH
According to The Institute for Sustainable Communities, a sustainable community is one that manages its human, natural, and financial capital to meet current needs while ensuring that adequate resources are available for future generations.
With consumer and industrial waste at an all time high in nearly every category, it is our responsibility as community members to contribute to the management of our available resources. While societal waste cannot be eliminated at the individual level, we can come together to convert imminent waste into usable resources.
Changing the trajectory of resources from unusable to usable will have immediate impacts on the physical, financial, and social health of our community and its members. Over time, dedication to awareness can lead to an increase in waste prevention adoption, which should result in a healthier, more sustainable environment for all.
Community Angel Resource Exchange hopes to use awareness and adoption to expand to other regional communities to improve the overall health and sustainability of our state, our country, our continent, and our planet.
For a community to truly grow, it must have sustainability within its foundation.
Community Angel Resource Exchange accepts in-kind donations from regional nonprofits, monetary donations from individuals, local businesses, and local organizations, as well as material donations (supplies and other operational items) from individuals, businesses, and organizations. Every donation received makes a difference and is appreciated.
